Ford Flex Alert
There is a problem with the
exterior A-pillar molding on the Ford Flex. According
to some auto glass replacement technicians, when you
remove the molding, it shatters. This is a particular
problem in cold-weather areas, but is not limited to
chilly places.
Upon our contacting Ford about
this, company technicians replicated the problem but at
presstime, they had not solved it. As soon as we have
word from Ford on the best way to handle this, we will
publish it in Auto Glass
Journal and post it on our
Web site.
A new molding costs $105.
